Dr. Loren Borud immersed himself in the medical field for more than 20 years already. During that time, he did not only practice surgery but he had also shared his knowledge by rendering his services as a professor for 8 years both in Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical School. He was also a consultant to several types of companies until today. He specialized in plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery as he completed his medical degree in Harvard Medical School.
During his first years of practice, Dr. Loren Borud had assisted in some of the earliest gastric bypass procedures. In 1990s, this procedure was only considered for people with extreme cases of obesity but it had become one of the most common procedures today.
Surgical techniques and tools have made this procedure acceptable with average complication rates. By 2003, gastric bypass is one of the common surgeries done for more than 100,000 times already in US. Due to its popularity for weight loss, surgeons had also started offering body contouring to their patients after their gastric bypass surgery.
Dr. Loren Borud does body contouring because the gastric bypass procedure often results to patients having excess baggy skin. This procedure ensures that patients get a leaner and shapelier body after shedding so much of their weight. It reveals a slimmer figure and leaves youthful skin.
Body contouring procedure also becomes popular. In fact, around half of those who underwent gastric bypass have also undergone this procedure to complement their new figure. Through body contouring methods, many people regained their self-confidence and a large percentage also entered relationships
The oil and gas industry is divided into two types of operations. There’s the E&P sector, with E&P standing for the exploration and production of oil and natural gas. Those in the E&P sector are referred to upstream companies and Texas Allied Petroleum is a good example of this. Downstream companies, on the other hand, are its exact opposite, as they deal with activities that take place after E&P and this includes refinement and processing of oil and natural gas as well as its marketing and distribution.
Another term used for downstream companies is R&M. In some cases, there are companies which have fully integrated operations; this simply means they have both upstream and downstream capabilities.
In a way, the oil and gas industry is very much similar to the real estate business. For both industries, location is everything and without it, nothing matters. A great house won’t sell as much as it should if its location is dismal. Similarly, the most skilled manpower, high capital, and the best equipment can’t do anything if the oil site’s location is all wrong and has no ability to produce the natural resources required. Thankfully, Texas Allied Petroleum has shown remarkable aplomb in site selection, with actively producing sites not only in Texas but also in various cities and counties of Missouri, Wyoming, and other states.
Currently, Texas Allied Petroleum divides its time between developing new sites as well as reworking existing sites, such as in the case of Kansas’ Wilson/Todd Project as well as Wyoming’s Little Laramie Oil Field respectively.
